Celebrate
an “Egg” Citing Easter with Dakota’s
Easter Wish and an Easter Egg Hunt
Children
of all ages and children at heart are invited to celebrate Easter 2012, 2 p.m.-5
p.m., Saturday, April 7, at the Estate of Merritt and Alneatha
Salley Hamilton, 23 Hamilton Place, Yemassee, SC 29945.
The
celebration begins with a brief devotional, followed by blessing of the
food. At 2:15 p.m., Vasilisa C. Hamilton
will lead a 30-minute reading and discussion of her 2008 children’s book, Dakota’s Easter Wish. Children who attend the reading and
discussion are expected to read the book in advance. To receive a free copy of Dakota’s Easter Wish, contact Mrs.

The
Easter egg hunt begins at 3 p.m., and prizes will be awarded. Refreshments will be provided, and the event
will be hosted by radio personality “Mighty Jody,” the “Don Cornelius” of the
South Carolina Lowcountry and former host of WJWJ TV’s dance show, “Stepping
Out.”
This
“egg” citing family friendly event is free of charge, alcohol-free, and will
feature “clean” music.
